I’m so obsessed with shirtdress because it’s simple, comfortable, and chic. It looks flattering on most body types! My current favourite is Babaton Clayton Dress. I accidentally found the shirtdress after one hour browsing in Aritzia, and it becomes one of my wardrobe essentials. It’s highly resistant to wrinkles (made from 100% polyester), and it’s easy to maintain (can be machine washed). Also, it’s a great piece for layering on colder days. I love the hidden buttons that make the shirtdress look more elegant, and the belt that defines waistline and creates slimming effect.

Both the style and length of the shirtdress are appropriate for work. To keep it simple yet professional, the shirtdress can be paired with a gold bracelet, a pair of black or dark grey pointy heels, and a classic black bag.

The shirtdress can be transformed from simple to glam with a statement necklace and a pair of leopard print heels. This is a great outfit for a dinner date with girlfriends or the special one.

Weekend is the perfect time to unwind and do fun activities: brunch, picnic at a park, etc. To feel extra comfy, the belt can be removed from the shirtdress. The shirtdress can be worn with a jeans jacket and a pair of comfortable walking shoes for a relaxed and casual look.
